never ending clutching work
Hi there,
I have an 07 800x 151, I spent many trips to local dealership since last fall with "clutching" . Gearing down and extra venting helped the sled but couldnt get it quite right as I expect from a new sled. The mechanic added all the current updates and a bit stiffer spring in primary, cleaned up the rave valves which were a bit sludgey. I wasnt able to pull over 8000 on a flat logging road and couldnt hold rpm climbing...I was told he spent a long while cleaning and troubleshooting and dicovered a solenoid for the raves was peckered. I'm no mechanic but after that its running like a champ, I spent a full day running it and the clutch STILL gets pretty hot but down to clicker 3 and pulling 8300, over revved a bit for the conditions at 4. Happy Days are here again.....
