I have a new to me 2016 Polaris Pro RMK and going through clutches to see what previous owner had installed. I am new to mountain clutching so going off the owner's manual I have the black (120/320) primary spring and 10-68 weights. I do not know what spring is in the secondary, but I am assuming stock spring.
The sled also has a SLP pipe on it and according to book 10,000+ feet should be 60g and SLP fact sheet I saw wanted me to use SLP weights but looked like the total weight was 60.7g. I have 10-58 or 10-63 weights. Sadly, here in Iowa there is no snow to test before going out to Wyoming next week and I do not have time to acquire 10-60 weights. My plan was to run the 10-58's but wanted to get others' opinions who have actually owned the sled/ been able to ride it to tell me if this is a good plan.
Also need a spare belt. A friend of mine who rides a lot but hates wrenching on the sleds told me the Artic Cat 048 belt is better to use for these clutches. Trust the guy, but also want to verify if someone else has heard/ experience it. Appreciate the help!
