Hi all,

New to sledding and new to this forum. Just purchased my first sled (2010 skidoo rev-xp 800r) When i looked it over before purchase I think i messed up and missed that the track is fraying. Can anyone tell me if the track image i posted is in need of replacement or if its normal? Also if there are any tip on my specific model in regards of things to look over? I've checked compression, belt and all functions. Sled seems in okay shape with 2,600 miles. Thank all

that fraying on the edges is nothing. lift the back end up so you can spin the track. check it over real good for any rips or tears.

If the fraying bothers you, just take a propane torch to the frayed edges and they will burn right off. But those are fine. Enjoy the XP -- one of the most fun sleds I've ever ridden.
Post some pics of it in action!
