Hi, anyone added a post forward kit to their G5 turbo? I have one on my 2020 and love it. Ordered 2024 turbo and wondering if I can or need to do it on G5?

Post forward fits on G5 no prob. You will need a N/A steering post though. No airbox mods required, which is nice.
does the post forward kit require any cutting of plastic on the gen 5 turbos?

None on air box but I had to cut the plastic piece where the post enters below the display. I think it’s called the access panel.

Anyone done the post forward mod on a gen 5 na sled? I gather from Rasmussen’s site that the stock post works. Does the air box tab need to be cut and the the air box itself heated and moulded to fit around the steering post as shown on Bret‘s video?

I’ll let you know once the snow arrives.
Got it installed on my turbo g5 but damn was that expensive by time you buy a new post.
Liked it on my g4.

The install on the G5 is easier that previous models. No cutting or heating the air box to make it fit. Just a little plastic trimming on the top access plate.

Getting your riser height dialed with the post forward is critical. I had mine about an inch to tall part of last season and hated the post forward vs how it felt on my 2021 Gen4. I ran 4” riser on the 2021 and used stock expert on 2023. Stock riser with post forward was too tall for me on the 2023. I may even try a little lower this year. If I can’t get it to feel comfortable like the Gen4 felt, I’ll return to stock.

I’m 6’1, moving the post forward makes the mounting point taller, because it’s more vertical.

I use post forward with the adjustable riser. Been using the adjustable riser for years. Allows me to get the exact height I need and works for others who want to ride my sled too.
