So I came across a sled on CL that was listed kinda funny. In fact I wasn't even really sure it was a snowmobile until I called and confirmed with the guy selling it. I thought he was selling some sort of bike or quad but anyway... It had been on there for months so he parted with it for $300. I'm honestly not even sure what year it is or anything yet. I rode it down the rode and back, handed him $300 and took off before he changed his mind. Damn thing runs like a champ! I took my (almost 3 yr old) son out on it yesterday out in the field behind my house and SNOWMOBILE has been in every sentence since! ha ha He went into the garage and sat on it for an hour last night making sled sounds before mom finally made him come inside... ha ha ha pretty much like me in August.

Couple questions:
1. I realize my son is pretty dang young for this sled (turning 3 on the 23rd) but I think he's ready to ride. Throttle Limit/Governor? Any ideas on making this thing not go 40 mph. I don't think he's quite ready for that ha ha. I let him control the throttle and bars yesterday and he would just hold it pinned the whole time... Hell I haven't even put him on a tricycle yet.

2. His feet don't quite reach the running boards so I was thinking about doing a seat mod to to make it more narrow so he can stand and reach the boards. Anyone done something like this on a bravo? I've seen it done on old indy's and 120s.

I was also going to ditch the goofy handle bars and get something more his height. Maybe some fly minis with some grip heaters and hand guards. Also will most likely go with a remote kill switch for road/fence emergencies.

Now that I've read up a bunch on kiddo sleds though I'm almost thinking about ditching the bravo and finding a Scoot to give him better suspension and more of a rider forward sled (summer do a 121"). There's one locally for $1500 that's in pretty damn mint condition. Thoughts? Maybe I'll just keep this one too since I'm into for almost nothing. I had a blast cruising it out in the fields the other night. Thing rides on edge like a dream ha ha ha. Just like my pro.

Here's a couple pics anyway!

You can do a lot of mods on that bravo to make it work for your son and save a lot of money in the process rather than going with a snoscoot. Heck, I may even help you. I am building 2 new sleds for my 7 and 8 year olds this summer as they are outgrowing their mod longtrack 120's.

I've seen you long track 120s.. What are you going to do with them? I just want to get him learning the correct techniques right from the get go. I'm sot sure yet but the bravo may be a bit bulky for him for a few years if he really wants to ride like dad :) This kid is obsessed and now I'm finding myself drooling over kids mod sleds more than my own hahaha

Keep the Bravo.....

Keep the Bravo for yourself......& get the kids a Scoot (I'm a little stuck on the Scoots we have 4 now all 121s). You are right they if they have a Scoot to learn on they will have the rider foward thing all worked out when they get on the big sleds. I picked up a Yamaha 250 Enticer for Dad to ride, paid $25 for it couldn't go wrong, only one problem the kid I bought it from made one last jump before he had to drag it to the shed without the track moving....... The Bravo will be a blast to ride with you kids. I hate riding my mountain sled with the kids it overheats after about 10 laps around the house.......LOL

The Bravo is waaay to big for him yet. Get him a 120 and he can use that for another 3-4 years. There's lots of mods you can do to the 120s to get more speed and suspension upgrades.
Your Son can't even rest his feet on the running boards or steer the machine and you want him on it???
