Looks like they all have the short tunnels and shot. What sets the 3 levels apart?

165 3 inch with shot and turbo
17,900 X
18,550 Expert
19,100 Freeride

650 From X to Expert
550 From Expert to Freeride

not as much dissimilarity as last year. the freeride has rail and tunnel reinforcements in addition to what was stated above. you can order the FR with the limiter strap if you want or buy it and install yourself.

glad to see the smaller (especially lower) seats making it to more models. the stock one on my 20 FR was way too high and i wondered what the thinking was behind that considering how heavily these are marketed as niche, high performance mountain machines only to have a foot thick cushion on there. i ended up removing some of the foam from mine and it's a nice, easy to do improvement.

Does the freeride have the same spindle and ski rubber as the expert? And are the freeride shocks alot better then the expert shocks ?

Same spindle and ski rubber.

I have a 2020 Freeride and one of my friends has the 2020 Expert. Ressy shocks on the Freeride seem a little better but are heavier. Comes down to rider preference.

If I stick with Skidoo my next sled will probably be a freeride, the X models leave a lot to be desired in the suspension department...
