I have a chance to pick up a 2005 Crazy Mountain Extreme sled with a blown engine for $1000. From what I understand up until the new a-arm cmxs, they were all built off modified gen 2 bulkheads.
At the moment I have a pretty modified 01 RMK with an 800 triple out of an xcr. I'm wondering if anyone knows if it would be all that hard to put the triple in the cmx. I'm also wondering if anything on a cmx could be replaced with a part from a gen 2 (trailing arms, tunnel, seat ect.)

If anyone has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Spencer

Hey homie, I have one, and your answer is no, no, no... (they use: fabcraft trailing arms, cmx custom made tunnel, boss seat)....

Call CMX and ask. I bet some parts are the same dimensions. However, if I remember correctly the bulkhead was widened for proper clearance to run a 16" wide track.
Once again, get it from the horses mouth.
