Munster kill switch is great. I broke my stock button last year and really liked the munster as another option. Low profile, momentary, clean.

munster.
however, the "race rubber" sleeve turns the factory switch into a momentary. I just put one on the 650

Yep, I ran the same race rubber for three sleds until I broke off my button and lost them both last year. Then I went to munster and liked it.

Just ordered another race rubber for my 24.

I just got a replacement kill switch from RMATV for a generic dirt bike application, cost like $14 ? It's a waterproof momentary switch.
running it for 3 years now.. $160 for a munster kill switch? yikes!

Save some money. Pretty much any push button kill switch can be turned into a momentary with a simple rubber band from some grocery store asparagus wrapped a few times below the red cap.

O-rings work really well too. I always put an O-ring on and rotate it down so it can't catch on things, but is still there to shut the sled off.

……..
In 2013 everyone I know has started putting the kill switch below the crossbar.

Hasn’t been an issue since.

Why is this still a discussion item?
