9r engine code p1488

Was out on a small ride today got the code p1488 sled would die when hitting the gas unplugged the can sensor and it fired up and got me home. Once home I cleaned both egt sensors (pipe,can) sled than fired up and ran fine. Anyone encounter this I will be taking the sled in tomorrow.
