anyone had issues with Munster finger throttle on '25 sleds?
installed mine today and the cable ferrule seems to bind in the lever. also there seems to be excess free play when the cable is adjusted so full throttle is when the lever hits the bars.
i tried to clearance the lever a litttle bit, and it got better, but not great. i tried the lever from my '24 and it was about the same as the '25 lever after clearancing.
never had this before. have been running munsters for years

I think the piece on the end of the throttle cable that goes into the throttle lever is bigger on the 25s

the actual end of the cable appears to be the same size. the housing end appears bigger.

i have the new '25 Munster.

Careful, if the ferrule doesn't rotate freely, eventually the cable will fail. And the Matryx cable is a PITA to replace compared to previous generations.

I'm assuming you've either broke a few throttle cables or figured it out, I broke a throttle cable because of this issue... if you look closely on the silver T at the end of the throttle cable you can see there is a seam from where the part was casted. File down that seam and make sure it can spin freely inside the level when actioned. I've now heard of some 25 thumb throttles having a similar issue, along with the Munsters. Perhaps a recall on throttle cables is coming lol.

Had to get one as i sprained my throttle thumb. Action on mine is good but i was sure to hit the ferrule with a file to get it somewhat smooth without flattening too much. Munster was kind enough to warn me about that as i had just replaced a cable and have zero desire to do it again. Sucks!

Solid first ride with it today. I like it about evenly with the thumb throttle. does some things better, but actuation with the thicker gloves i wear is more difficult to grab WFO than using the thumb.
