Just a heads up for anyone heading to Franklin Basin, the powder there is insane. I've been riding for nearly 20 years and can't remember powder like that, ever. Climb a hill and come back down then shut your sled off to clean off the foot of powder on your hood. If you're not on a bigger track (151" +) I would wait to go there. Rode Sat. and I would say an average of 3-4 feet of fresh. That's no lie! Snowed heavy all day Sat. while we were riding, and if they got the storm that hit Pocatello Sunday they are going to be crazy this week. So if you're going to go, take your shovels, and an extra pair of goggles. Best snow in years.
