Going to Playa Del Carmen in a couple weeks. Sounds like we need a negative covid test the day before we come back.

Anyone been down there recently?

Most of the traffic down there is headed north. Don't hear of many people going the other direction.

Was there over New Years and yep - negative Covid test needed. Most resorts do them on site. We were worried until we notice they barely touch the nostril and give results in about 5 minutes.
