Track question, 154" 3.0 vs 163" 2.5

Looking at upgrading sleds. Currently ride a 154" with 3 inch lugs. Found a couple sleds and a 163" with 2.5 inch lugs is cheaper than the 154" with 3 inch lugs at the dealer. Would the 163 make up for the loss in paddle height? Or would it still be a obvious difference with the shorter lugs?

Depends on the make of sled,track pitch & track design!
