pro to khaos with factory anti stab

wanting to revive this thread as i have a 22 matryx pro rmk 850 with the pro rmk rails factory antistab kit seris 8 2.75 track. I have the walker evans silver and black monotubes not the purple rmk velocity monotubes. If i'm wanting to convert to khaos i'm gathering the consesus is that i just need to install Khaos shocks and limiter stap and i'll be fine with my current rails. or i could install a longer eyelit on my current silver and black non velocity front monotube and the khaos limiter strap. something like this linked below?

do i also need to drop my front skid to the lower tunnel mounting location for it to be more like a khaos or would this be even more playful than a khaos? thank you all for the help.

legitimate khaos shocks will make it more of a khaos than extending your fts. Im running fox khaos shocks/limiter with factory pro rails and its been fine.

Did you also drop your front skid mounting bolt to the lower hole on the tunnel? Or is that not necessary? How u liking the fix shocks? You go qs3 coils?

so I reached out to ice age and asked because they have a big huge "DO NOT ADD KHAOS SHOCKS TO PRO RAILS" message on their shock sale page. and they are telling me they do not recommend running the khaos shock and limiter strap on pro rails even if you have the factory anti stab because of "high rates of anit stab wheel failure, and high rates of tip/hyfax wear. saying that they have seen failures of both of these components on these setups in under 100 miles.

curious on your guys thoughts that are running this setup and how many miles you have and what your anti stab wheels and hyfax tips look like.

I did not drop the front torque arm into the lower hole. I heard that it trenches more but its free if you want to try it🤷‍♂️ whats the harm lol i heard it wont work if you have 9” idlers tho. I did go with qs3 coils. I kinda wish i went iqs but i didnt plan on upgrading the fronts. Maybe the next sled i get will have em. I did have an antistab issue. The bearings had spun enough on the shaft to actually wear the shaft out. Bearings were fine and it happened completely stock. Been fine since i replaced it. Since the rails are cut for the antistab theres barely even a difference between pro and khaos rails, i think thats a big reason why they only have the one rail in 2024+. I might have an old picture of them side by side. Also lockout is very handy, can have a super playful setup and still climb out of places when you drop in somewhere you shouldnt.

I'm curious when you saying you kinda wish you upgraded to iQS, are you running boost? or an NA 850? kinda looking into this all now and thinking I may like the floats more than the coils but go back and forth. is the iQS still worth it in a non turbo sled?

Na 2022 165 850. It would be nice to lock it out on the fly is all, not really a big deal in the grabd scheme of things tho

Love the lock out feature. I like my coils, but I think nxt round I'm going with the floats. I like to have a little more adjustments but the price for the coils is nice.

do you ever find yourself in deep days, just riding around in lockout all the time off trail? or is it something you step off and throw on every once in a while?

Just depends if I'm getting were i want to or not, it's really as simple as when you want to, I've left it on for a while, it's amazing how much it helps. I couldn't get out of a spot once and once i locked it out. I climbed right out. Worth every penny. I've been running the coils, but I think I'm going to go to the floats, so i can have some more adjubility.
