Polaris running board failure

Hey fellas,
Just curious if im the only guy breaking the factory running boards. I have broke the right side running board twice this winter. First time was warrantied but this time it’s not. I have a set of bm fab on route but just thought Id check if it’s just my riding style for my weight (250) or if it’s a problem. Broke same spot both times

First set was and Polaris said no this time around.

I broke the right hand side running board on my '19 last year, polaris coverded it under warrenty but said it wouldnt be coverd again if i broke another one

Since you have cut up the plate for the foot well I kinda understand why they denied warranty.
One might think it does add some support to the running board mount in its original form.

I have a buddy that has broken both sides this year, fronts broke then the rear. He welded them. He is in your weight class.

Nice to know I’m not alone. Sure hard finding parts with the world in the shape it’s in now. Luckily will have a set of bmfab boards this week to install.

I also know a guy in your weight class who sends it big and a lot. He’s broken 5-6. I broke one last year jumping the local road gap. Didn’t even think of trying warranty. I’m 170 lbs.

you'll love the BMFab boards, OP. Did you get the optional cleats? Or just going to run the traction screws?
