I wonder why they didn't powder coat the rails on the white/orange Summit? Those things will hold all kinds of snow and ice. Black or orange coated rails would look sweet on that sled.

Are there any good pictures floating around of the new gauge? I feel like they have tried NOT to show it and based on the pics from far away it looks fairly underwhelming.

The primary clutch on the 2017 MXZ is a huge leap for Skidoo ... Aside from that the 2017 XM Ummmm Well Shucks Skidoo thanks for allowing SW staff for sharing with the forum and we will see you at the top of the mountain along with the 2017 Poo, Cat & Yammi mountain sleds.

it's interesting how they say it will maneuver easier and
tip with less effort i wonder if they mean the changes will make it have a larger sweet spot when tipped
or take less effort to get it there but feel similar to 16s ?

also it makes sense the motor would be faster responding
ei reving shoot 2.5 lbs off the clutch NICE !

9.5 gallon tank you are out of gas and back to town for lunch. Hopefully this new tank works. It has been 15 years since they had one. I had a 14 xm that ran out of gas and the pump clicked off at 6.5 gallons. I had to jump up and down to get it to 8 gallons.
Looking at the spec sheet, they are unpainted except for the black/yellow X model which have yellow painted rails.
Yep. 8 gallons was about max for the Xm. If this new tank holds a true 9.5 we won't need to be worried about running out before poo or cat at all.
If they release a 174 in the new platform it looks like it would be a long beast. A 2016 163 length is 135.6" the new 165 is listed at 140" only .9" shorter than a 174 T3. Unless I'm missing something, my 174 T3 is a bit of a bus.

The spindle to track distance is greater on the doo.
