The standalone ECU compensates fuel full time for altitude, water temp, intake air temp, boost, and throttle position so you don't have to press buttons to adjust the fuel delivery.
The pump gas turbo system for next year involves a different shim, cam timing, injectors, fuel regulator and ECU to make it all work as a kit. Pump gas turbo pricing should be similar to the $6450 price of last years 28RS kit, it is the same kit with the above components. You will NOT have to run an 02 sensor with this setup. Turn the key and ride.
Mattymac-upgrading the older systems will require installing the above components, we will have a kit and pricing for it in the fall. Not going to be as cheap as a piggy back, comes with injectors, 2 MAP sensors, CLT sensor, IAT sensor, etc. Not going to break the bank either.
Motley1-we are planning to go Revy next weekend to do lower altitude testing, come up and pull the trigger. Thanks for the seat.
HYFLYR-Your on the list.
Prowlerk- fitting the 3" in there is tight, I have one under my other Nytro as well trimmed to 2.75", with the full front cooler moved forward. This one I cut the upper 3 inches off of the front cooler, moved it forward, and fabbed in a plate so I could get even more clearance. The tightest spot now is by the jackshaft.
DCturbo- we should have an ECU on a 3071R race kit next week. The current pump gas map is good to 23 psi at sea level, we will have more info on this soon.
