For Model Year 2023, the Norseman X 8000 returns with all-new colors and graphics.
The Norseman X 8000 is powered by the C-TEC2 794cc, 2-stroke 8000 Series with 165-class horsepower. The engine is paired with the Arctic Drive System™ that includes the Arctic Cat ADAPT CVT System for improved performance and serviceability. The lighter-weight ADAPT CVT system features a narrower design and an advanced idler system that maintains constant belt tension throughout the ride—resulting in minimized wear, longer belt life and smoother power delivery at slow speeds. The system also provides a smooth, consistent drive-away in all snow conditions and a low starting ratio to optimize deep snow use and towing of cargo.
Up front, the Norseman sleds feature the Arctic Race Suspension™ (ARS™) with 9 inches of bump-eating travel. The front suspension is coupled with 10-inch Pro-Ute skis that taper to 8 inches wide at the center and an adjustable 35.5- to 41.5-inch ski stance. In the back, the model offers 13.5 inches of travel from the XTRA-ACTION Rear Suspension with adjustable torsion springs and Torque-Sensing Link rear arm. The XTRA-ACTION Rear Suspension works to keep the rear of the frame articulating or “tipping up,” which keeps the sleds climbing and staying on top of the snow when in reverse, rather than sinking. The rear suspension can be unlocked for more maneuverability or locked for increased traction, depending on the needs of the rider. The Norseman X 8000 is offered with a 153-inch Power Claw™ track with 2.25-inch lug. The unit also features Arctic Cat IFP 1.5 shocks all around for superior ride control and comfort along with excellent fade resistance, even in the harshest conditions.
The Norseman X units have Arctic Cat’s next-gen bodywork and 14-inch mid-height windshield. Other features include a deluxe digital gauge, electric push-button start, sport bumper, 6.5-inch handlebar riser, tow hitch, rear rack, tunnel bag and dual halogen headlights. The models are available in Black/Fire Red with new graphics. An accessory kit is available that includes front bumper, rear storage and an 18-inch windshield.
All 2023 Arctic Cat snowmobiles will be available for pre-order during April 19 – May 3.
