I’m doing Skinz Tri Lite running boards, 8” shorter tunnel and kicking up the BM fab bumper higher in the rear.

Still to come.

Some sort of 36” front end. (Leaning towards skinz to keep stock front WE clickers)

Indy specialty heavy turbo weights. (Mild Over-rev last year)

Quiet silber turbo muffler.

Shorter handlebars (undecided on brand/style)

I have the tri-lite boards ordered too. Excited to see if they hold much snow.

I like the look of those boards. How did they fit? Any custom work needed to make them fit like stock ?

They fit perfect.

No ovaling holes.

Comes with long rivets where needed.
Short rivets for the tunnel side
Wide flange rivets for the plastic.

Extra traction screws if you want to add more than the amount factory installed.

I did replace the bolts they sent with titanium but that’s just bling. :)

hey sheet,

When you cut your tunnel you don't have to remove the cooler? you just cut the back channel and re-weld it where you want it?

Thanks

Yep.
It would definitely be easier with a bare tunnel.

Removing paint and making it super clean took the longest.

I didn’t even remove the seat or tank. (Plugged the vent)

I wouldn’t do it for hire for less than $800.00. (PITA)

@Sheetmetalfab . . .

Those little metal pieces at the front of boards and below the footloops . .. did you fab these? Ice tends to build up in these areas in certain conditions, so that looks to be a good thing to add. Did you have a chance to test them out last season?

They come with the boards directly from skinz.

I installed the boards and plates Thursday. 8-8-19

They wouldn’t help stock boards unless you cut out the most forward crossbar.
(It’s right where snow builds up)

I was thinking about cutting it myself and having it welded. I have the bare aluminum tunnel so paint is not an issue.

I ripped my tunnel both side at the top skid mount anyway

how do you prevent aluminum debris and such to enter the coolers?

Blow it out from the front hoses after cutting.

Air nozzle, flush with water, air nozzle again

Make the cuts overlap like the factory welds to allow for easier Welding.
