Has anyone figured out what is going on with the boost fuel pump failures? Why is it happening? Is there something we can do to stop it from happening or fix it after it happens?
I'm afraid it will happen to mine when I'm on my big trip and fuel pumps will be on back order by then.

So if the fuel regulator comes unclipped, why does the pump make noise? Is it over speeding because it doesn't have normal working pressure?

Skidoo pumps did the same thing few years back, regulator popped off the pump
The fix was longer screws with a washer to overlap the regulator

I heard a slight hum near the front of the sled. Thought it was the new primary with how that works with the belt. Better investigate this more.

Some one posted this on facebook:
FUEL PUMP UPDATE

Took the boost into Polaris today after a bunch of checking other sleds. 4 out of 5 2022 sleds had the fuel pump fastening ring only finger tight. Torqued the ring to factory spec 28ft/lbs. seems to have eliminated the loud fuel pump noise. It is completely silent.

I won’t be able to take it out and test it for about a week due to our snow conditions! But happy to be making headway!

My first ride yesterday. Fuel pump started making noise at the 15 mile mark. Sled never missed a beat all day though, but still pulling apart to check it out.

We rode yesterday couple hours. Noticed the pump making noise when I started it to pull in trailer. Howled all day today I got the low fuel pressure fault one time on a pull. Didn’t happen again

I see how this could pop apart

Pulled it out of the tank and I don't see anything wrong with it. Nut was tight and pressure regulator was fine.

Does the fuel level sender snap in the tank somehow?

No, just lays on the bottom of the tank. The stiffness of the hoses holds it in place I'm guessing.
