Exhaust Valve Spring Question

Cleaning the valves on a new to me 08 D700 with SLP single pipe and can. Poo says it should have pink springs but it has purple springs which are listed for the 600. One is rusted in two and I am wondering which to order to replace them. Are the purple springs for the 600 a known improvement for the 700?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Different springs are recommended for different elevations too. I just put purple ones into my Carls 860 Dragon as that is what they called for.

The one side gets rusty as the drain hole in the hood / air plenum lines up perfectly with the vent hole in the exhaust valve cover... some people drill a new offset drain hole and silicone up the old one to prevent this.

Relocating the hole is a must do...it's free other than 2 minutes of your time to drill a new hole. Check out the "Increase Your IQ" sticky for a bunch of free or nearly free improvements.
