difference between 2018,19 and 2020 drive clutches

Hello we need a clutch for a 2019 alpha but on back order tell March(cant be) but anyhow the 2020 drive clutch is available but different Part # Anybody know the difference?

Throw in the spring out of a 2020 clutch and it will work fine. Does not have to be a spring from Cat just one with the same rate.

As far as I know they are the same. But I have heard that the 20’s and 21’s won’t pull the same weight in the clutch as the 18-19’s. So I’m guessing it’s a spring difference is all. I’m just guessing here so

They are the same. I think a different shim but act the same. And pull the same amount of weight.

Different shim is what I’ve heard.

There is a shim now under the spider...so the belt offset s a bit different- I think that is why the MDS weights are having issues in the later clutches vs the 19"s
