diamond drive help???

Sled is an 09 M8. I removed the diamond drive and opened it up to inspect the transfer shaft bearing. The bearing was fine, but I replaced it anyway, with another 6203 single row bearing. The diamond drive went back together just fine. I replaced the gasket and the cover went on with no fitment issues. Now when I go to put the drive back in the sled, it goes in but will not go the last 1/8th of an inch to be flush with the tunnel. I removed it and put it back in several times, but it seems like it bottoms out and will not go the last little bit. Any ideas?? I'm at a loss. Thanks in advance.

probably the rubber seal/gasket getting hung up around where it mounts. it'll go, you just have to work it a bit, or you can try a little lube. you could try sucking it up with the drive shaft bolt a bit as well, but it should fit flush on it's own.
