From what I have heard I may not to need to make any adjustments for the head. But where should I start at for 1400'. I need some place to start! Also if the stock ECU will adjust it from 1400' up to 10000'+ I'm not sure I understand why it won't do the same thing with the Boondocker? Why will I need a different map for higher elevations? Once I have it set won't it be good for all elevations and temps?
If the APV on the 1000 stays consistent regardless of altitude, than you should have no problem adjusting fuel with the rpm ranges. Than the better option may be to run lo, mid, hi, off TPS.
Good info…thank you…
Yes this box should work on your 06 700, but it will not work on a Dragon.
I’m not sure what kind of adjustment you’ll need to make for you head.
Once you have it tuned for you 1,400 ft. the ECU should take care of minor altitude changes, but you will most likely want a different map when riding at your 8,000-10,000 ft.
Thanks again for all the questions guys.
