I am new to polaris and have a 19 rmk 800 155X3 and few questions. I am at about 1500ft elevation and curious what you guys are doing for more power? This thing is sluggish compared to my doo i had. Are the stage 2 kits worth it with noticable power? What is this sled suppose to hit for rpm? Im getting 8000-8050 sometimes 8100. Currently just have the gold spring and 10-70s. Last thing, what are you guys doing to make this more playful? I dont wanna be able to do flat ground catwalks but having alittle more lift would really make hop overs and re-entries much funner and easy. Thanks!

I would try the black 7044537 spring that is speced for 2000'+. It's rate is 120-330 lbs which will raise your engagement rpm and have you in the bottom end power better which will help the sluggishness. The higher 330 finish rate will raise your max rpm also which you need. Target 8250 under load.

I also would recommend a helix with a steeper initial angle that will be more aggressive for lower rpm on/off throttle response. Your stock helix is a straight 40. I would recommend the Venom (Team) #520115. It's angles are 56_40/.36 and 56-42/.36. Run the side with the 40 finish if your rpm is spot on with the black spring...if you rpm is a little above 8250, run the side with the 42 degree finish as that will pull your max rpm down a bit. Will put the fun factor and ability to pull the front end up at creek crossings etc into the sled.

Gear it down to somewhere around 2.37 and it will give it a lot more snap off the bottom.

Thanks for the info. More than i expected! Thats really all i want is alittle more ski lift. First ride on this sled and tried to cross a creek and pig stabbed the other side. Ouch! ?
