KC 711’s Polaris Factory built 900 Race Mod is sporting the 300LX here in Afton.
Hope it’s an option in 2025.

They have to cut them down. They all run same height with traction screws.

Having track options is awesome. If you don't mind messing around, a person can find an ideal setup for them and their style.

I mean not saying anything negative about the track at all but isn't it a completely different use case? They need to like how the first 1/3-1/2 of the paddle performs with screws in it. And on ice/dirt.

I guess it's cool to know that it performs well under a variety of applications though

I've never met TRS but by all accounts he's a true guru in every sense of the word. Majority of the value in this forum is accrued to him IMO.

I would be more curious as to what he runs on his personal backcountry sleds? Is the 300LX best suited for the abuse of the race course? My series 8 2.75 (23 Kahos 9R 155") took some mysterious damage last week as I don't recall hitting anything, for me I think I'm leaning towards the M700, from what i have read it seems like a good replacement.

I wrecked my 2.75 on my boost and didn’t think I was that hard on it. Replaced it with a 300lx and I like it a lot more. Only have a couple trips on it so far though

That's awesome, thanks for the info. For me I felt the stock track performs pretty good, ( I ride Afton Wy.) It's the price to replace that stings a little.
