So I want mine set for the best powder riding possible..... From what I have read in the forum it says to set the front strap as tight as possible...... The manual says to set them as loose as possible for deep snow.... Am I missing something here? I ride Utah powder and am an intermediate rider. :face-icon-small-sho:wine:

So this is what I am going to do

Pull the limiter all the way up, make sure the rear adjustment is all the way to the red thread.....

I am trying to accomplish the best powder reaction and making it as easy to roll side to side as possible. I also have the rear transfer set to h.

Am I on the right track.

limiter strap

pulled all the way in plants the skis to the ground you want them all the way out or close to it and that will get the skis up a little. also mount youre skis in the narrowest possible postion this will help as well with getting her over along with one of the steering post relocates. hope this helps. SG

Thank you very much. Now doesn't letting the straps out have a negative effect on the attack angle? I will look Iinto the relocator for sure.

You might trench more with the straps out, I had the best luck with them sucked up so my sled could get on top of the snow. After a track/skid change I can run them about in the middle.

I rode with the limiters sucked in as tight as it would go and the rear torsion springs as tight as they would go. I also played with the coupling and had it couple as soon as possible. Not the best on the trail but it did the trick in the deep stuff.
