UNION BAY Polars 900 big bore motor, good deal?

I am interested in a Union Bay Polaris 900 motor on ebay right now. It says it is a 1135 cc motor. Would this be a good race motor or hill climb motor?
Let me know what you think or if you have any info.

It's hard to go wrong with any of the UBR motors. Great power and reliability.

Personally i would not waste my time with such an engine, Sounds like pots need to be renicked and have new pistons installed as is or even a complete rebuild

Money is probably better spent on turbo kit for your original engine if your wanting more power

union bay motors

from what i can tell everyone that has a union bay motor loves it and gets great power from it. pretty reliable and strong motor but you do have to get special pipes and a few other things. I think way better then a turbo.
