I have a 01 800 with the TRA clutch with pin weights. When it idles it sounds like someone is hitting it with a little hammer. When I bring the idle up just a little, it goes away. Is this caused by the arms sticking and knocking against the sheave and that's why when I increase the RPM's they pull away. If so, what do you guys use for lube?? Also if the arms are sticking would this put a slight load on the engine while idling and that is why the idle is goes lower and they start to knock????

I have noticed the same in the last while with my RT, gonna clean the clutches this week and I think I`ll replace those as they were pretty worn last time I looked.
