Ive been running a small light bar for the last year or so, nothing fancy or stellar bright. Its 6" says 10-30volt and 18watt IIRC. Forgive me for I am not good with electrical specs. It is just plugged into the factory proclimb headlight harness with no other headlamps. Turns on on high beam setting. So it works fine, kinda flickers a little at idle but smooths out and then at about the rpm where the powervalves open it gets a hair dimmer. Then goes brighter I believe when the powervalve servo releases, but could be something else I guess. So I assume its just underpowered a bit. Doesnt really bother me, my only question is will it harm something over time? The cheesy speedwerx switch from their handlebar cleanup kit broke so I wired it on all the time, but I dont want to harm something. Am I good? Or do I need a lighter load light or some type of regulator? TIA
