I seem to destroy gloves too...but now I either wear cat or yamaha leathers.....seem to be about the toughest...but they do tend to shrink abit after repeated wet/dry cycles.

love my cat leather gloves..tough tough...just pack a set of normal gloves though for when you or your partner are stuck to use...if your hands are sweaty or wet they do get my cat leather a bit soggy so i carry cheap ones to pull..
