Made a quick 1/4 turn attachment for BCA bag with 4 cam lock levers ...going to try similar set up with the snow flap ...levers and bolts were less than $6 /each at Lee Valley ...little grinding to make the head fit the slot, rubber for compression washer, and tig top of bolt to cam barrel so cant come apart .....
Going to try something similar with the flap ...

I've got 3 different solutions to the removable flap. First one is through testing and works well. It's the most simple/least expensive design but requires more work than the other 2 to attach and remove. Hopefully, I'll have the most elegant solution complete soon and tested over New Year's week. I might need other folks to test...

Would you buy this? How much would you pay?

Testing is going well. Still needs a few tweaks but I wanted to let everyone see the first prototype to show you what's coming. No, I won't show you how it works until I start selling them:)

2013 pro test mule ....
1/4 turn cam lock levers ...

come on polaris...should be an easy factory item just need to align 2 of the flap mount points to match up with the tunnel slot. I'm going to slot the back end of my bca bag mount that i made with the same style locks so i can clip tbe flap onto the tunnel...

Have actually tested a sled side by side with and without a flap? I have never run a flap on my Polaris. I drill it out from the factory because there is no difference in trail temp between a flapless sled and a factory flapped sled when they both have scratchers down. Furthermore stock Polaris flaps do very little to knock snow down and I would say from the factory AC stock is worse than any factory set up. If you really are that lonely and need to ride close to your friend on the trail I would suggest ridding Jon and Ponch ala Chips style instead of wasting time on a silly flap ?

The pro flap doesnt keep much snow in the tunnel on trail but it is a help on days where the trail is packed. Riding low elevation (0-2500' coastal), conditions can change considerably - always in powder agreed it isnt needed. It should be an easy upgrade from factory .....

Up here Chips are served with fish - and often with dressing & gravy (not poutine)....or come in a bag with local flavours ....guess your're talking about that gay cop show from the US that was passed off as entertainment ...maybe your parents should have let you watch more educational programming .... Merry Christmas

You hit the nail on the head. Trying to be politically correct here riding side by side with your buddy on the trail is "uncool" was all I was saying. Sorry if you misinterpreted it as me being a Chips fan ?
