just looking for some girl imput who owns a 146 xp just wondering if you like it and and keep up with the guys im looking to buy a 146 for my wife and want to make sure she can go where i go on the 154 she is 110lb and i think a 154 might be too much any imput would be very helpful

Good question!
I've been trying to figure out which one to get as well. I'm a smaller rider and was initially thinking 146 - this track length is supposed to be the same as rev 151 track. But in my research with the other gals, they all seem to have 154's and throw them around well. I now have a 144 rev and do need more track. Hubby's rev is a 151 and he's thinking his next sled will be a longer track. We ride mountains, pretty steep and deep most times

conditions

the snow conditions that you ride in would help too. in the powder the 154 would steer like a dream but on the hard stuff not so much. just wondering if the ladies that like the 154 only ride pow?

The difference in overal length between a 154" and a 146" is about 1.5 paddles. It isn't some huge massive change in track length. I don't even know why SkiDoo has a 146" track these days quite honestly.

I personally ride a 154 at 5'1" and 115 lbs. I came off my 151 REV, thought forsure I would be hating it. Not true, it gets me where I want to go most of the time

. I ride powder, trails (to get to powder), trees and hills. I ride with a older lady on a 162 she is BEAT at the end of the day, but can go anywhere with the length. I would say depending on her experience and upper body strength would be a determining factor. My personal .02$ lessor experience and tires easy go for the 146.

I ride a 154 and love it, cant imagine having anything shorter.. Getting a longer track just takes time to get used to how it needs to be thrown around, but not impossible to handle at all.. I guess I would rather have too much of track that helps me not get stuck compared to buying a sled an realising that the longer track would have been nice... which now that I have gotten used the 154 I am wishing I got the 163

Love my 154. Seldom get stuck, I'm guessing with a 146, I would. Rode Cooke City last year with 3 feet of powder for 4 days zero stucks. :face-icon-small-hap

I love my 154. It will go anywhere my 162 will with the right rider. My girlfriend loves my xp with the 154 she can toss it around ok and not get stuck. Also not too long that it makes a horrible trail ride. I dont think anyone who rides alot of powder would be happy with out a 150ish track range. The only reason i would want a 146 is for jumping reasons.

I'm 5'9" and 165lbs give or take, and I ride a 146" Summit 800.

Haven't had too many issues, I ride a 146 instead of a 154 so I can jump it without warping the tunnel as badly, and it still gets everywhere I need it to just fine.

I ride a 146 XP and love it. My father-in-law had the same sled in a 154 and there was practically no difference. I prefer the 146 because it was just slightly easier to manuver. My husband rides a turboed nytro and I go pretty much every where he goes minus the places insame places where I know I don't belong. The best thing about the either length is the the ease at which you can get them unstuck. She will adapt to either.
