drove truck up to finley mine and - 108 and unloaded sled, rode about 5 miles over summit and turned around, had to stay on the road 4 to 6 in. not much snow but hey I was sledding!

At least you got out. Better than the rest of us sitting home, scratchin' our butts, kickin' the dog and fighting with the wife.

We drove by 108 yesterday on the way to Mammoth and wondered how it would be up there. Did you go in towards Levvit(sp?) at all? How much snow did you find?

not enough snow to go to Levett yet, had to drive past 3 gates up past 9000 and parked at finleymine road, (about 5 miles east of sonora pass peak) and road 5 miles west os pass, snow pav snow pav untill then.
