I’m late to the Matryx party and I noticed there are few options listed as fitting the 165” for rail stiffeners. I’m sure they are out there and was wondering what people are using. I’d love it if no one was having problems but I doubt that. I know bombers are still around but a preventative brace set up is more my style. The less additional drilling the better imo.
Thanks for any info.

I have utilized rail stiffeners from IceAge. Very high quality products from this company.

Yep they make great stuff. Which have you used on the matryx X brace? Shorties? Maybe a 163” brace fits a 165”. Just wondering if someone has been there or there’s a consensus before I start calling around

The word from Ice Age is no hill climb braces for the matryx, gotta buy rails. Which I think is a mistake after having run braces on a Axys and absolutely loving them. But not my choice to make🤣. They are good people for sure.

So for the Matryx Khaos 165 I have found exactly 1 manufacturer that specifically states their kit will fit.
Itek industries up in Canada. Sounds like the x brace will fit too reference sheet metal fab post above.

Otherwise there are multiple manufacturers that list AXYS rail brace kits for 155” or 163”
A few people noted they tried Axys hill climb kits on Matryx sleds with it NOT working out.

I’m just compiling info here have no Matryx experience yet. if anyone knows different or has additional info please share.
I have a couple more emails out awaiting responses and could easily be missing someone/something.
Thanks
