I’m replacing a tunnel on a 2017 m8000.. am I stuck buying rivets from the dealer for way too much? Or Is there any another option? Thanks in advance! I hope y’all are enjoying the pre-season!

Any industrial supply store should have rivets, you just need to get the right ones. Some will be stainless some zinc. I would look in the parts book and buy one of everyone you need then use them as samples to get the right ones. If you need to paint them i stick them in styrofoam and use a spray can.

In my experience spray painted rivets start flaking after a while. If you need black ones buy them black already. I bought all Cat rivets when I did mine, but make sure you get some quality steel rivets and should be ok. Aluminum rivets get loose fast on a sled. Put huck rivets back in where they come out like at the suspension drop bracket.
