At idle, wiggling the throttle lever may kill the engine because the elliptical hole that the throttle lever pivot pin rides in is getting too elongated, which takes pressure off of the electrical piston type pin that extends into that hole that the pin sits in. Buying used will most likely not be a guaranteed fix.
