How is St Elmo for beginners?

Got a house rented near Princeton with a group of beginners in March, so Elmo is closer. If Cottonwood is better suited for beginners, no big deal to drive a little farther.

I'll be in the trees on a snowbike, but these are true beginners. One has ridden trails and meadows twice, other has never ridden. So they'd be happy for a day or two just on trails. Know they'd be happy with the wide open of Cottonwood. I've just never made it over to Elmo before to know what it looks like?

Or how far the trail is from Elmo over to Cottonwood? Covering big miles on a snowbike isn't much fun. I'm prepared to not ride like i want, but don't wanna put a hundred miles on the bike a day.
