Hey while you were making fun of my poserish ways there X, you forgot that I have 509 ski's too.

Its not posing, its advertising.:face-icon-small-win

809 with mild port work by Union Bay. Pump gas motor. P-85 with Cat secondary. Definately old school, would have been really cool a couple of years ago, but the new chassis are better handling. I've gotten really good are refitting and rewelding pipes so maybe in a few seasons I'll try it in a new chassis. I also have second hand 925/950 cylinders & pistons, but I want to have them checked out, because I believe the guy that originally put the motor together was a hack.

Well saturday was a little exiting. I pulled a pretty big climb on the Dragon, and just as I was cutting around the top of the knob the whole hill sheared off behind me. Everyone was at the far end of the lake watching, and it didnt buckle above me so it didnt get anyone. Good thing too because it was a pretty big slide, very thick, at least 500' across the top and 2000' long. It piled up on the lake over 30' deep then cracked the lake and started sinking.

I didnt even realize it had happened until they told me 30 second later on the radio, because i still had a ways to go on my climb when it sheared so I didnt hear it. My wife was along on this ride and had her vidio camera, so she got pretty much the whole thing on film. Im on dail up here, but when Justus gets back from helena he is going to upload it. Everyone be careful out there, having something like this happen makes a guy realize how quick something can go wrong.

I second that Mike! Glad no one was hurt. Very scary! Have let a few go myself and witnessed HardA$$ cut one loose back in the day (way back).
Nothing of the size you are discribing. None the less any size is eye opening.

Thanks!!!

Well I finally got all of the snow camp stuff unpacked and put away last night. Just wanted to say I appreciate all the help we had from the out of towners, and of course the local boys. Weather was sweet and so was the company.

Sure was nice to see and meet some of you Spokane fellas and ladies.

Emily, wow what a crash, glad your not hurt. Did make for some excellent viewing pleasure. Great shots!

Mini, bummer about the diamond drive, hope to see you guys over here another time or two.

Tom, see you boys in May look forward to riding with you again. By the way for the rest of you, you should have seen Tom working that Apex through the tight Yaak timber, "all nimbly bimbly like."

Snowcamp seemed to be pretty much a sucess. Hope to see more of you guys there next year. Will have more photos posted in the next few days!:)
