Great pics. How's the snowpack looking in the Selkirks, Think it will still be rideable Memorial day weekend? Depends on the weather I suppose and how hot it gets.

Had a great day on the Pack with some good riders and friends. The nicest and warmest day I have rode yet! Also met some new friends. Kept my mind off of a seriously negative situation. Lost my aunt yesterday. Thanks to everyone for the day.
BB

Very sorry to hear that! I hope all turns out ok with ALL of your family! Take care!

Hey Bigbull,

Sorry about you Aunt man, I feel for you, my uncle was murdered last week. It's not an easy situation but just know your friends are here for you.

snowcamp '08

I'd like to thank Macafee, Hardass and Poobrew for another awesome snowcamp. The best yet. I know you guys put in alot of work to make it what it is and we appreciate it. Pretty nice rollin into camp at 1:00 am to a huge ball roastin fire and tents already pitched. Not to mention the food saturday night after a great spring ride with lots of snow, sun and friends. Couldn't have been better.

also nice meeting you Ragged, XFL and Skadi. That green M8 sure looks good in the air don't cha think. Too bad the landing about snapped my neck. Skadi, yours looked a little worse I think though.

Nice climb Hardass. Someone must have refrained from tossing you in the fire the night before.

Can't wait till next year!

you ain't kidding polarisrocks! those are some big slabs! How do you like that yammi?

hardass, do they just not make a mount that will stand up to the torque of the 1200?

skadi, rusty huh? sounds like you needed to go with "when it doubt pin it!"

Nitro I can't believe your selling the RT...you and that sled sound like a chick in an abusive relationship that says she wants out and then bails the guy outt jail! Glad your keeping the 174 though! Oh and nice pics!

What's the story on Clint and needing a new motor?

BB sorry for the loss. Hey how's the Nytro coming along for you and Oragne?

Motely man I don't know what to say to that...I feel for ya.

Tim nice pics as well looks like tons of snow left for ya!

Just when you thought you heard the fat lady singing....NOT!!

After the sunny 70's of the week end I was begining to think that the trend was going to be warm and sunny.....not!! Schweitzer snotell is showing a gain of 4".....Not so good at Copper Creek/Lincoln MT....they lost 12" in the last 48hrs...wow...not good...

So with snow forcast down to 2500ft the next two days the weekend could look like fun in the fresh again!!:D.....Just not sure the sun will be there to shine on us....

Looks like a late but favorable AVY report....But I guess ya gotta watch out for those pesky cornice turds...lol...Man that thing would have crushed you like a a bug Jim!! It looks like there were alot of tracks across the rock...did he crash trying to jump it down hill or crash hitting something going up??

Hows the Turbo running?? Is the triple sold?? Mr. Mikey BGC quit riding or just the 4m??...You riding next weekend?

Tom...you still heading to the Big Dawg?? If you need a reliable sled I could rent you a sweet polaris..:D

Couple pics from yesterday.....beautiful day....

My 9 year old rode the twin piped 7 all day. I put on 66 miles so I assume he did around 50miles....hung in there all day long. He was whooped by the end of the day.

Spent the day with the Walkers, you want to talk about entertainment, I have never seen 2 young boys (2nd and 3rd graders) tear it up like these two. hillclimb, jump up hill, down hill, they do it all! It something you cannot even explain, you just have to be there to see them, I spent more time sitting and watching them that riding....Watch out in a couple years is all I have to say.

Couple pics nothing great, I had camera issues all day. Every pic I took was about 5 seconds late......The pic of the cornice would have been a wall hanger but I missed it. Walker hit it pretty much as fast as his sled would go.....he had to have been 15feet up....you can see the spray from him landing....and that were it stopped. Broke the driveshaft if half when it landed. He had 1400 miles on his nonwelded XP shaft..it was time..

Hows your XP running TT? Still going strong! Is Skidoo's warranty taking care of the shaft issues? Hope so.

The story with clint needing a new motor is that the ol 07 xrs finally gave up the ghost at a ripe old age of 2,900 miles. unheard of for an 07 800r motor i know, i know. but the good news is it is still under warranty. the bad news is it is still in a bowl up the pack river. stubborn bugger just didn't want to come out even with an rt and a 860 in a train tuggin on it.we will be retreiving the sled on saturday.(it's rope winch time) takin it over to pinehurst an gettin er fixed. rode with turbo al from the sled shed last weekend in revy and he said that my motor would not make it to 3,000 miles. what a time for him to be right. all in all it was a great day. thanks for the help nitro, hymark, bb, dtrip, coedeez, summitrev156, griz, skadi, and agent orange. (is it still gonna be agent orange when ur on a boosted nytro???)

Yep, they are fixing them. Mine goes in tomorrow to get fixed all on warranty. THey are also gearing it down under warranty. I also have not had to buy a belt all year, they have been replacing them. I blew the updated one yesterday, it had 500 hard miles on it. Many of those miles were when the clutching was off and the belt would get sizzling hot, so I should have added belt life now that's it's running cooler. The gearing will help also.....

Sled is running great....still not perferct...Shifts like a mother then just stops right around 48 - 52MPH track speed then the belt just starts slipping...you can actually feel it...It stops pulling as hard and the R's just start to climb....It has the power to shift more but it just stops like it hits a wall. I have new ramps in the mail that will hopefully help fix it. I tried making if shift with pin weight but it just did not work right....The ramps I have coming are much more aggressive shift on the top. I'll get it there...I clutched my Ultra for 2 years before I got it to where I really like it......

As far as the sled I love everyting about it (minus the horrible clutch setup) and would buy another in a heartbeat. Keep in mind though I ride hard but I am not a big jumper so I don't really test the sled in that fashion. I did jump off the cornice in the pic and up it a couple times but nothing like Walker was hitting it...His has held up until yesterday...1400 miles.

hhhmmm....

I think TT should go into politics...lol...

Broke the driveshaft if half when it landed. He had 1400 miles on his nonwelded XP shaft..it was time..

but the ol Rocky Mountain King who in its day was the hottest sled on the snow ..... who only had random broken cranks issues.....was trashed on.... day in and day out by the TT.........ohhhh the double standard...:D

But now he buys a doo doo and his quote was "He had 1400 miles on his nonwelded XP shaft..it was time....ROTFLOL!!!
