I say narrow it up...like 40" or so?
Bullet proof it. If you can find a weak point, address it. Extra motor mount, high end arms, etc. There will always be ppl mod'ing their sled, and no matter what a mfg does it won't be enough, but at least it will be ready for a little work.

Don't forget the stock tether. It's the small things that matter sometimes.

I agree, challenge it with a 174" and let 'er buck.

I would say a 3" 174 track, engine porting, pipe, head and tuner. Maybe Iceage pro-motion??

How much time are you willing to put in Christopher? Who's helping you (technical backgrounds)?

Is it an M8000?

What "parts that fit" do you already have? Stickers or supercharger?

First 2 things are no brainers,
ALL,,, 2016 drive train changes from both sides.
ALL,,, 2016 suspension changes at both ends.

Easy to add more (depending on question one and two) but I'd like to know how many "entries" does each member get? Once per post (Snowmow wins) or once per membership?

Is this a dream come true???

1. Replace all the drive train components with the updated 16 components.
2. 162 x 3" PC
3. Update shock package and narrow A arms.
4. Replace stock running boards with "airframe" style.
5. Lose the suitcase and get a nice TI Can.
6. Ditch the chain case and put a belt drive on.
7. Carbon Fiber Hood/Panels (I would love to get on board with the composites design)
8. Some mild exhaust porting and High Compression Head
9. Full SLP exhuast
10. BD Xtreme lightweight airbox

I feel this would be a great start!! This is such a good idea and incorporating everyone's design opinions is absolutely spot on!!! By gathering the knowledge and experience on SnoWest with these sleds, we should be able get the sled that WE all want! Kudo's to you Christopher on the hard work for getting this setup!

Make sure you take care of the jack shaft spinning on the inside of the baring on the right side of the sled. This was a problem in the 2015 sleds, I'm not sure if they have the same problem with 2016 sleds or not.
