Just installed my 1st kit. The chain guide on the front of the kit was/is touching/nearly touching the drive sprocket on the engine. This is my 1st install. Any help is appreciated. 2022 Riot on 22 Ktm 300 xcw.

Mine was the same. 2022 FE501 with a 14 tooth sprocket. I just trimmed it slightly with a razor blade so it wouldn’t hit.
Same here, 13 tooth sprocket just barely rubbed on Riot 3/ 2023 FC450. I filed down the guide a bit and moved the guide back as much as it would go. About an 1/8" clear now.

Sometimes also, that ridge is supposed to line up with the center of the chain but it doesn't. I ground that center ridge completely off on my last install. It's been a few seasons now and no ill effects.

Thank you for the replies. This is what we were hoping/expecting to hear. I didn’t realize I could move the guide, I’ll have to look into that the next time I’m close to the bike.
