Anybody running a Powder Freak head on their G4 850 turbo?

Thoughts? Good or Bad...

Has anybody had RK Tek re-domed their 800 or 850 Etec head for boost?
He claims you can run 2psi more boost with the same grade fuel and make more HP with his dome design.

Yes, I was able to get the head mounted up on the 850 over the weekend. I haven't been able to ride it yet though. Those are mine pics I shared from Photobucket.

Boost is still controlled with the MPI adjustable boost regulator to maintain 200HP.

Had I done the RK Tek re-dome to the stock head, I would have added a boost T inline to add 2psi more boost.

How did the Powder Freaks head work out?

I'm liking the PF head so far. Its hard to tell what I've gained, since I don't ride with any other 850 turbos. It has good bottom end pull and I've yet to hit the DET light, so that's a good sign.

I have a head on my 850 as well as the others I ride with. No issues at all and most of us are 7-9 lbs, boost it turbo set ups. I have 3000km on mine

Duane talked me into staying with the stock Compression Ratio, rather than lowering it a couple points. Glad I did, has great bottom end power and no signs of hitting the DET light yet.
The only other turbo's I seem to run into are Axy's running Silber kits. They are running more boost and Avgas/Race fuel so it not a fair comparison. I don't miss having to run race fuel at all. I would like to run into a new Doo 850 turbo stocker to see how mine compares.

I ran the RKT mod 850 do head on my MPI turbo ski doo. Seemed to work very well. I ride at 9,000 to 10,000 feet and had to add some octane to pump gas before the head mod, ran straight pump gas after head mod with no det problems. I think the PF might be a little better since they completely reshape the dome
