My son and I made first tracks past the forks... Great day till the M7 recoil came apart... Had to restart the boys sled with my tether cord..

Found some good safe areas for the boy to practice powder riding.. He's only ever been on a snowcross track before yesterday.

I went up yesterday with a few friends. every sled had problems. but it was nice to be out on snow instead of dirt and rain.

I am considering driving down from fairbanks just to get out. Let me know, it would be my first trip there. Just moved in from montana 2 months ago.

Welcome to AK. Don't get in a hurry, if you just can't stand it any longer and have to ride, stay on the road and established trails, way less expensive and painless. Our premier riding time is after the "dark" season jan-apr.

Yeah I know its early and a-arms are expensive. I got rid of my 09 M8 and got a leftover '10 M8 and just anxious to ride it and dial it in if necessary.
Maybe I will just wait till at least next wknd, and keep an eye on the weather. So maybe I will take you up on next friday.

Crazy, I will get with you later in the week. Yeah my wife and I are liking fairbanks, all settled in. We both are in the Air Force. We need some more snow up here.
