Did the new motor mounts fix your problem?

Didn't get a chance to get out this weekend. Ran it on a stand and seen 7900 so we will see. Have a speedwerx 170/310 secondary spring and a new spring seat to get rid of the shift assist. I also have a linderman mount in the mail.

Read through your posts again, 100 octane? What compression ratio and what elevation.

well if you think it feels strongest at 8200 with 700 jugs and stock pipe and then went to 800 jugs with all the same.
I guess your engine mounts and secondary clutch are where to look.

Cool! Thank you Thunder. I replaced the motor mounts and the have a linderman mount on the way. I also got the stuff to ditch the shift assist as well as a speedwerx 170/310 spring. (Fingers Crossed)!!!

My 06 700 loves 7850-7900, my f7 bigbore8 likes same with speedwerx 925 pipe. They are efi though. Try formula x-1 in secondary. Rips!!!

Is D&D saying 8200 with stock compression? If so, putting a 15:1 head on will push the RPM peak down. So 8200 may not be where it needs to run.

I could see that if I was riding at sea level but not at elevation. I did get out today and with 170/310 spring, no shift assist and new mounts I seen 7900. Gonna replace the secondary as there is some play in the bushing.
