After putting over 700 miles on this setup I am really liking it. Got to try a 9R a few weeks ago but unfortunately I didnt have the 1000 out on same ride. Was on my modded 800 16 Proclimb. Anyway the 9R was about equivalent to my 800 power wise after jumping back and forth pulling same hill. In the snow we had the Polaris track (2.75) was not as good as the 3" Powerclaw and was a little slower on hill and trenched more. The power difference between it and my 1000 is quite a lot. Rode the 9R in the trees a bit and throttle response was good but not as snappy as my 800 or 1000. Both my engines/clutching are not stock so not dissing the Polaris too much but the hype I have heard on these gave me higher expectations. Chassis handled nice, felt more at home on it than the last Axys I had. Sled was a dealer demo with clutching and about 900 miles on it.

I have couple guys asking for these kits now, and I am considering doing a production run if I can sell 4 kits or more. If anyone interested, you can email me at: post at tpservice.no

Going into this season and will be using the 1000 again but back to twin rail with a 165 Doo track. Will also be dialing in a 1000 Turbo setup in a Proclimb we assembled last spring and didn't get to finish tuning. Might also assemble another non turbo sled as I have 100% of all the parts to do this conversion to another one with it all being as quick as an engine change except for fabbing up another intake which is easy. The new 858 will probably be better than this setup but I can build these for 1/4 of the price of a new sled and have fun doing it. Still might look at pulling the trigger on a new 25 next year though, first new sled for me in 12 years.20230320_103826.jpg

07-11 1000 engines are all same, I used an 07 in my build. Freshened up and modded of course. Engine weighs about 10-12 lbs more than 800 which is mostly crankshaft weight. Plug and play into a 12-17 wire harness using an 09-11 M1000 ECM. Horsepower isn't huge gain over an 800 but the torque is. About 30 ft/lbs more. My modded 1000 makes about same HP as a 925 kit on 800 but with more bottom end grunt. This coming from the guy who did my porting and builds 925s for Suzukis and CTECs.
