Gen 4 steering post position.

On the current XM sleds if you want the steering post inline with the handlebars you need to move the bars back towards the rider which creates an awkward position. This is why many opt for the post forward kits. Is this going to be the case on the new Gen 4 sleds?

When I got a chance to demo the new sled I was told that the post is 4" further forward. It felt further forward to me and I didn't think to ask if that was compared to an XM -X, -SP, or my XP sled that I was sitting on (with a post forward kit on it). I've mentioned it somewhere else already but the foot and bar position made it feel like a downhill race bike which I like for aggressive riding.

Would anyone be interested in a vertical post kit the puts the post more straight up and down like Polaris and cat?

Spoke w Brett Rasmussen on this... He agreed that the bar position is not optimal stock, I rode the 850 for two days and first thing I noticed was an extremely too high riser. Brett says he has a rsi set up already for it that you can buy. He's shorter and runs the 3-4" riser said for me at 6'3" I'd want 5". Lower bars equal more leverage and control and don't push the rider back on the sled

So looking forward to getting started on a totally new sled.
After 7 seasons on my Yamahas, it will be a completely new experience to start all over again with Ski-Doo.

On the Nytros steering post relocation was a HUGE issue.
Will be fun to see if it really comes into play on the Gen4 or not...

The 850 steering post sits at 57 degrees, it will be I big issue. Polaris and cat are both about 85degrees, almost vertical.

Any idea what the angle is for the T3's? The angle on the 850 looks more relaxed than the T3,..... I hope not, steepening the steering angle was a huge improvement over the XP.

Looking at picture, the angle looks about the same, post is just a bit more forward.
