Just wondering what kind of gearing is being run on the 872's that ride at elevation in the mountains? Include your drivers and track size.

I know there are a TON of other factors, (clutch setup etc.) but just curious to hear a few setups. I know it is irrelevant but I am also curious about track speed.

PLEASE no Bashing or smart a** comments.

2.25 ratio on 880, 8 tooth drivers, 2.5 163 camo. Buddies 860 2.42 w/ 2.5 163 flex edge, 8 tooth. His 872 8 tooth extended case 2.52 163 3'' camo. 880 is the fastest in current snow conditions (hero snow:face-icon-small-dis for the most part) racing up hill. Haven't had a chance to run deep snow this year to see how the 2.25 ratio will compare against 3'' now that it is geared up. All three have c3 belt drives. Thinking buddies 872 would be better suited w/ 2.42 ratio, has plenty of motor to pull it and all of these big bores like load.

Give a call as we have a ton of information available on setups from testing ourselves and a huge customer and dealer base that we can help with at all elevations with our 872 builds.
