extrovert troubles

I finally got the sled about all buttoned up when I was tightening the track I noticed that when I rotate the track it catches. I took a further look and my extros don't line up with all the windows. The extro catches about every 5th clip and binds up till it slips over it. I have an 07 IQ racer with a 136 ripsaw. I got the ripsaw as a take off out of an apex. Anyone else have troubles with this? this is majorly pissing me off, just when I think that I can finally ride I may have to tear out my whole damn track again.

Pitch

The pitch of your drivers doesn't match the pitch of your track. Those Polaris drivers are probably 2.82 pitch. Did you check the pitch before you installed that Yami track?

iqr drivers

the 07 iqr came with 2.52 pitch drivers i believe your ripsaw should also be 2.52. the drivers are spaced in about .25inches each because the snowcross track was 14.75in wide and the windows were narrower than the production 15 inch tracks. you will have to press the drivers outward a bit to make them line up in the windows.

The stock polaris IQR drivers are 2.52" pitch, the yami track is a 3.0" pitch.
Their's your problem right there.

yami tracks are 3.0 pitch? The dealer said it was 2.52 pitch. I was also told that the drivers are 2.52 pitch. I will have to measure tonight.

I said the same thing over on HCS... but I'll post here before you go and do something drastic. Try turning the track by spinning the secondary clutch instead of just rotating the track by hand. The windows just don't line up right unless the track is being driven by the driveshaft.
