Easy Bolt on Weight reduction ... what's possible??

We install the TI Cans from Diamond S and have had zero issues. They do spend a lot of time making sure they fit and flow right. We are waiting on cans for the 17 model Doo because they don't want to build them and then find out Doo made a last minute change. +/- 18 lbs. to 3 lbs. Got a shipment for the Axis last week. They have improved them a bit so it will be interesting to see if it is noticeable.

The 17 stock cans are supposedly 3lbs lighter than the 16's...putting it at 15lbs

I just put the 16 axis can on the scale again and it comes in at 19.15 lbs. I have a 17 Axis sitting on the shop floor and I will pull the can later today and see what it comes in at.

I'm guessing the hood and can will be the 2 big weight losses. If I had to guess it would be 22-28lbs range for those 2 alone. My xm was 24lbs for the 2

Anyone have their sled and/or some goodies for it yet?

TKI belt drive looks like a real weight drop, especially with the long chain on the G4's.

.

Why not just tell everyone they won't be delivered till march...... this is getting a little bit old.

They should be here any day now. At least for Mountain west.

Belt drive from tki for sure. Few diff shock company's w non resivour have lighter than stock. My exits where lighter than walker Evans on Axys. Can will save big too.. I'm looking into power options before can. Thinking taking 20-25 off this sled will be easy

For $40-$70 a month you can get a gym membership and shed several LBS. I know I've got a good 20 I could stand to lose.
I have to agree.
POUND for POUND, the best weight loss you could go after is the weight that comes off of YOUR OWN BODY.

I am down -35lbs so far in 2016, and can't wait to get on the mountain this winter!

Not to mention it will make you a better rider.

Earth x lithium ion battery if equipped with electric start

Port the track if possible

Belt drive

Foam

Headlight and gauges delete

Diamond S can

Titanium pipe if they are allowed to copy stock

Less idler wheels

Less gas in sled

If cooling system is over efficient , reduce cooling

Titanium hardware would be nice

Possible coating to shed ice / snow build up

No second helpings and just one slice of pie .

Huh?....how are you going to do that when there are no external exchangers?
